Positive Psychology in Language Teaching

What does Positive Psychology—"the scientific study of how human beings prosper and thrive"—imply about how we learn language? This mini-conference, hosted by JALT Sendai, features four leaders in the field. It's a rare opportunity, so save the date!

JALT Sendai Officer Elections
As required by our NPO constitution, once a year JALT Sendai holds an election for its executive committee. Following are the positions that we have, and a list of the people that have volunteered for the positions. Members in good standing present at the November JALT Sendai meeting will be asked to vote (very brief process). Thanks to everyone who served on the 2015-16 committee, especially Jim Smiley, Chie Tamada, and Austin Lantz who are stepping down from the committee.
